Chairperson

I work for a large local manufacturing business based in Preston. I first became aware of Tippytoes when our company collaborated with them on a project to send aid to children in Ukraine following the outbreak of the war with Russia. It was a phenomenal effort that resulted in eight articulated lorries filled with much-needed supplies being delivered to those in need.
Through this experience, I witnessed first-hand the amazing work, dedication, and compassion of the Tippytoes team — and the incredible power of community support. I was delighted to become a Trustee in October 2025 and look forward to supporting Sue and the team as we continue to help even more families in the future.

Finance and Accounts

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm 29 years old, I have 3 wonderful children with my husband, Wesley, and I have lived in Preston all my life. I had my eldest child at 18, and I was fortunate to have my family around me to support me. Without that support, I would have relied on charities like TippyToes to survive day to day. I became a trustee for TippyToes as it's a charity that helps so many people from so many different backgrounds, without judgement. I want to help it continue to thrive, and offer my support to take it from strength to strength.

Jeanette

Community and Fundraising

Retired primary school teacher, arty creative grandma who loves to travel and is still full of wonder! I now endeavour to spend my days embracing life’s simple joys with gratitude and sharing my knowledge to make a difference by becoming a trustee of TippyToes Baby Bank to help ensure that families receive not only essential items but also the care and encouragement that they need.

Having faced my own life challenges, I understand how vital compassion, kindness and a sense of community is. Being part of TippyToes; I bring empathy, creativity, and a heartfelt belief that the power of people coming together to lift one another up is paramount when building positive supportive communities.

Jamie

IT and Communications
Hi! I'm Jamie. I'm a 31 year old History teacher and father of one. I'm incredibly proud to be a part of the trustee team, having seen the beginnings of this charity in my mum's back room. I've seen first-hand how important TippyToes' work has been in the local community and beyond and can't wait to help the charity grow even further in the coming years!
